If you are experiencing this error:

…your document must be OCR’d (Optical Character Recognition). This is the process of making your document text searchable for the courts.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open your document in Adobe Acrobat.
  2. Perform text recognition by selecting “Scan & OCR” from the All Tools menu.
  1. Make sure to save your document once OCR is complete.
  2. Re-upload your document into the LegalConnect portal.
